My daughter had a field trip today with her preschool class at a local farm that sells eggs, doughnuts and pumpkins. When we pulled in, this orange beast was sitting there. You can guess what dad was looking at!

Since Massey Ferguson was not in the above list of rebranded Steiger tractors, did they make their own?




It is nice seeing a post that gives the maximum horsepower with a date to help track the progression of horsepower growth.

The Massey Ferguson 4900 at 375 hp was the largest tractor available from Massey back in 1980.

John Deere introduced it's first articulated 4wd tractor 58 years ago. The John Deere 8010 was introduced in 1959 and quickly upgraded to the model 8020 in 1960.


Did Oliver make their own or did Steiger or Versatile paint some of their tractors green and white?
