After you determine how wide the header is and how fast the combine is moving, you pretty well have all of the information that you are going to get about the combining. The other piece of information I look for is how they take the grain out of the field. Do they use a couple of gravity wagons for a short trip by tractor to their own grain bins? Or do they use one of the more modern 1000 bushel grain trailers that is pulled by a tractor to a semi-truck grain trailer parked on the edge of the field? Or does the combine dump directly into a semi-truck grain trailer after each trip up and down the field?
